How do I apply?
You can apply online by completing our online application or you can call us directly on (02) 9831 3311 and complete a phone application with our friendly staff(regardless of how you apply, normal lending criteria applies).

Is there an Application fee?
No there is no application fee.

How much can I borrow?
New clients can borrow $200-$600 over 6 10 or 14 weeks and established clients can borrow $300-$2000 over 4-52 weeks

What do I need to apply?
You will need to be employed permanent part time or full time and be entitled to sick pay and holiday pay. Or receiving a Pension from Centrelink, not an Allowance: Example, Youth Allowance or on a New-Start Payment. You need to be over 18 years old and be a permanent resident. You must not be in a current bankruptcy or Debt Agreement.

Can I apply if I have Bad Credit?
Yes. It is always best to be upfront and honest if you have any defaults. Please advise us of any unpaid bills or current repayments towards a default. Each application is taken on its own merit and everybody's circumstances are different. Should you not qualify now for a loan, we may advise you to apply at a later date.

Do you conduct a credit check and contact references?
Yes. Like most lenders we are credit code compliant and as part of our assessment for you to obtain credit we will conduct an industry credit check. We also contact your personal references to make them aware that their details are being used only as a contact reference. Should you move or change your phone number during your loan term and forget to advise us we will contact your references to pass on a message to you on our behalf. It is only common courtesy to advise your references that they will be on a database. Privacy Policy laws will apply at all times.

Do you contact my employer?
If you provide one of your most recent/current payslips as a part of your application then we will not need to contact your employer. However we will need to know if your permanent part time/full time.

How quickly can I receive the Funds?
Once the loan documents and contracts have been signed the funds will be electronically transferred into your bank account overnight. Paperwork and verifying documents will need to be received by 3:00pm NSW AEST/AEDST before a transfer of funds are made into your account. If documents are received after 3:00pm NSW AEST/AEDST the funds transfer will occur the next business day.

Can I pay the loan out early?
Yes you can. You will need to contact us for a payout figure to the date of when you would like to payout.

Can I have more than one loan at a time?
Yes. You can have more than one loan at a time. Normal lending criteria applies. As a responsible lender we must ensure that you can afford to repay the loan\loans comfortably.

Can I top up on my current loan?
No. Each loan must be paid in full before obtaining a new loan. See above.

What if my bank details or payday has changed?
Please contact us at your earliest convenience to provide us with your changes to your direct debits. All changes to direct debits and/or banking details will require 7 days notice to the scheduled payment date or a dishonour fee may apply (fees apply).

What if my financial circumstances change?
Direct Personal Loans understand that people go through difficult stages and circumstances do change over time, therefore it is recommended you call and advise us of your current financial position so that we can work with you to make a suitable arrangement to suit your needs now.

What do I do if I cannot make a repayment?
Call us at your earliest convenience to discuss your situation. It may be as simple as deferring a payment, and then make a catch up on a later date. We will require 7 days notice prior to the scheduled payment date or a dishonour fee may apply (fees apply).
